Energetic Cleansing

Sounds unusual ?.. well energy can become stagnant or sticky just like a surface or germs only we can't ordinarily see it.

As a result a space neglected of energy maintenance or cleaning can really hinder the harmony of a home or space and its occupants. We all know chimney sweeping is crucial and so energetic cleansing is too.

This understanding and its benefits are gaining more popularity and appreciation as our awareness of the influences' on our well being is growing.

In Chinese thought is a system of ideas considered to govern spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to the flow of energy (chi) and whose favourable or unfavourable effects are taken into account when siting and designing buildings and maintaining spaces.

Feng Shui

Smudging is an age-old tribal tradition which has been used for centuries to create harmony and peace. There are many different shamanic smudging ceremonies and different tribes use a variety of herbs for smudging. To define it more clearly, smudging is the burning of herbs or incense for cleansing, purification and support of physical and spiritual bodies and so the realigning of energies and restoration of harmony.

Examples are smudge sticks, herbs that are tied into a bundle for easier handling; braided herbs and botanicals like sweetgrass, sage or loose herbs burned on charcoal or in a fire pit.

Smudging releases the energy and fragrance of the herbs and botanicals so they can heal, cleanse and purify.

Modern chemical air fresheners, candles and synthetic aroma sticks are in our opinion toxic and may well have the opposite effect compromising health and well being.

Shamanic

In simple terms is a ceremonial cleaning of energy in the home or office or anywhere required using sound and smudging or sacred smoke.

Feng Shui and Shamanic indigenous peoples have known and practiced this through the ages.
